Business groups and language experts called on the government to take immediate action

Very important article in The Guardian this week! It confirms the experience our learners make time and time again, which motivated them to start learning/ improving their German language skills:

Even though the official "business language" of a company may well be English, in order to actually build a rapport with your international team, earn their respect, and ultimately close those business deals, the ability to speak, or at least a willingness to learn your counterpart's language, is invaluable.
